Vegan Chocolate Chickpea Slice
Delicious nut free chocolate slice that's great for school lunches and high in protein and iron.

Wholemeal Flour

Chickpeas
Rinsed and drained

Rolled Oats

Cocoa

Brown Sugar

or unsweetened apple sauce

Instructions
Preheat oven to 180 degrees C. Prepare a medium rectangular baking dish by lining it with baking paper.
Add flour, chickpeas, oats, cocoa, sugar and baking powder to a processor. Process until combined and the chickpeas are broken into a fine crumb.
Add apple puree and milk. Process until just combined.
Add Chocolate Chips. Process until fully combined.
Pour chocolate slice mix into prepared baking dish. Bake for approximately 25 minutes, until browned on top and cooked through.
Allow to cool on a cooling rack.
